This time I would like to present to you my mittens pattern. It is first pattern I wrote down, so if there is any confusing parts, please share your opinions with me and I will try to explain it better :) To do this mittens you have to have a basic knowledge of crocheting and symbols. And also how to do bubble stitch.
The ready mitten look like that:
And to do that you need this pattern:
Crochet size:
5 (In the parenthesis sometimes I gave the number of loops what should be in
the row)
Body of the
mitten:
Rnd1: ch2, 8 dc in ring, join
Rnd2: ch2, 2 dc
in each dc around (16), join
Rnd3: ch2, (1 dc, 2 dc in next dc) repeats around
(24), join
Rnd4-5:ch2, dc in each dc around, join
Change color
Rnd5: ch2, dc in each dc around, join
Rnd6: 2sc, bubble, 2sc bubble (number of bubbles in
the row =4) after fourth bubble sc around until beginning, join
Rnd7: ch2, dc in each sc around, join
Rnd8: 1sc, bubble, 2sc, bubble, 2 sc bubble, 2sc,
bubble, sc around, join
Rnd9: ch2, dc in each sc around, join
Rnd10: Repeat round 6
Rnd11: ch2, dc in each sc around, join
Rnd12: Repeat round 8
Thumb:
Rnd1: ch2, 8 dc in ring, join
Rnd2: ch2, (2dc, 2dc in next dc) (10), join
Rnd3-7: ch2, dc in each dc around, join
Sew thumb to the body by four loops.
Continuation:
Rnd1: ch2, dc in each dc around (32), join
Rnd2: Repeat round 6
Rnd3: ch2, (4dc, dc2tog) repeat around, join
Rnd4: ch2, dc in each dc around, join
Change color
Rnd5: ch2, (4dc, dc2tog) repeat around, join
Change color
Rnd6: ch2, dc in each dc around, join
Change color
Rnd7: ch2, dc in each dc around, join
Change color
Rnd8: ch1,
sc in each dc around, join. Finish
I would be also happy to see your outcomes! :)
